The most important gift to yourself this holiday season
How to use self-love to let go of unwanted patterns
Are your actions aligned with your belief systems?
Look inside and there may be examples of where this is present.
Much of how we perceive the world is not something we choose.
We are a product of our family, our environment, and our culture.
While many of our mental frames are positive, others are ingrained patterns that require conscious and continuous effort to change.
Breaking these patterns is not easy. The deeper the mental groove formed by a pattern, the more sustained effort is required.
This is even more true for patterns we try to break where our environment continues to reinforce the pattern we want to change.
Do not give up.
If you know what you are working towards, and you know your goal is good, then commit yourself to the pursuit of it.
Give your best.
Take action to bring your vision of reality to life.
Give yourself grace as the chains of the past try to drag you back again and again.
It is scary to break free from the past and leap into the unknown.
You are courageous. You can act despite fear.
Maybe you feel like you cannot act because the fear is overwhelming.
Please know, what is on the other side of fear makes it worth going through.
Only you can discover this for yourself.
Know that you are supported.
You are loved.
Love yourself as those who love you do.
You are the light of infinite love.
All that is needed is to turn this light inward.
To heal yourself.
Give this gift to yourself.
Free yourself from your chains.
Love is the key.
If it feels hard to turn this love upon yourself, begin by directing your love towards someone or something you deeply care for.
Your pet.
Your child.
Your lover.
Your friend.
Pour your attention and energy into this love.
Let it grow brighter and stronger.
Then turn it inwards.
If the strength of the love begins to fade, start the exercise again.
Whatever you can use to kindle the flame of love back into a powerful fire again.
When the flame shines brightly again, direct it back to yourself.
Hold this state for as long as you would like.
Give yourself this practice on a regular basis.
Self-love works wonders.
We only need to give it attention and space to flourish.
P.S. I published this without audio. Please let me know if you are missing it.
